Dearest Sam,
You have been starting to walk since a little
after your birthday. Your father have been very impatient about wanting to see
you walk. The house is now half empty. We had to keep all the breakables away
from your way. The glass center tables had to be kept in the storage area to
preserve them. I have decided to keep them because you climbed on them and I
got scared out of my wits.
Though sometimes I get scared seeing you fumble
and try on the granite, you amaze me ever so abundantly. There is always a joy
in looking at your try to walk and experiment perhaps with your weight and
mastering your balance.
I am very happy to see that the milestones of a
bouncing baby boy are unfolding each day. They don’t call baby boys as bouncing
baby boy for nothing. Though it is tiring watching over you as you do your
impossible routine, you still amaze me profusely. You bring this such
unbelievable joy into my heart.
