Nursery Songs

Dearest Sam,

I finally had time to download nursery songs for you. You know, Mama got this little laptop called netbook. I bought from the money that Xavier gave when they we went up the roof for satefy during the typhoon Sendong. J There is not much damage to our house so I got us this. Just as perfect as I have planned it, I was going to fill this with nursery rhymes and educational songs for you.

Last night, when I played the classic “Twinkle, twinkle little star”, there was no room for your abundant smiles. You liked it so much and you talked to the owl and the star in the video. Hahahhaha. You were sooo cute. 

While your eyes were feasting on the video, mine were pasted on you. I could not help but smile as I watch you eyes flicker in delight. The warmth in my heart is so strong whenever you smile over something. 

Motherhood has so many gifts, my son. When you arrived into my life, things have changed for the better. I have a better person. And, in so many ways than I ever could realize, it is only now that I see that I am indeed capable of loving. 

Thank you, Sam, for showing me this; for teaching me that even in the chasm of one's heart, there is a fountain of bottomless, unending love. You my son,  has unearthed this. Thank you.
